Consultant
The main requirements for all four career levels of the MSU consultant career are as follows:
- Strong analytical, conceptual and creative skills
- Initiative and assumption of responsibilities
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset
Consultant/Management consultant
Entry as a junior management consultant is possible at the end of the university education. In this phase, you will be learning the basics “on the job” within the scope of the project work. At the same time, you will be completing the basic program of MSU In-house trainings, where you are taught the “tools” of consultants, such as rhetoric, moderation, conflict management, and presentation techniques.
As management consultant you have a proven track record, either obtained internally as junior management consultant or as entrant from other disciplines in renowned industrial and commercial companies or a corporate consulting firm. On this level, you will be responsible for (partial) projects. At the same time, you will increase your know-how by means of intensive collaboration with our customers and through internal and external continuous education seminars.
Senior management consultant/Director consulting (level 3/4)
As senior management consultant you will be responsible for project management and other management tasks. As director consulting you will be additionally responsible for the outcome and for co-designing strategic decisions in your business sector. Moreover, your responsibilities include the acquisition of other projects. Here, you can lay the foundation for your own partnership, thereby contributing to the overall corporate growth. Besides their social expertise and management qualities, our senior consultants and consulting directors impress with their extensive technical and industrial skills.
